The Smarttek Lite portable hot water system makes it easy to enjoy a hot shower while camping, caravanning, touring or travelling off grid. Connect to mains water or add a Smarttek pump to suit your water source, then enjoy hot water wherever your setup takes you.

There’s nothing quite like a hot shower after a long day at camp, on the tracks or by the beach. The Smarttek Lite Portable Hot Water System gives you the comfort of hot water wherever your travels take you, whether you’re camping, caravanning, touring, travelling off grid or using it around home.
Designed for outdoor use, the Smarttek Lite runs on LPG and connects to mains water or a Smarttek pump, giving you the flexibility to create a shower setup that suits the way you travel. Set your preferred temperature, turn on the shower rose and enjoy hot water when you need it.
Adjustable water flow from 2 to 6 litres per minute to suit your shower setup.
See your water temperature and battery level while the Smarttek is running. For reliable ignition, we recommend keeping all 4 battery bars solid.
Turn on the shower rose to start the water flow and automatically ignite your Smarttek. Turn the shower rose off and the system shuts down.
Powered by 2 x D cell batteries to ignite the Smarttek Lite when water starts flowing.
Summer mode uses 2 burners and typically raises the incoming water temperature by around 6 to 10°C. Winter mode uses all 6 burners for a larger rise of around 16 to 20°C.
Turn the water on and off directly from the shower rose, with two spray patterns to suit your shower. Pause the water while soaping up, then turn it back on when you’re ready.
Fine tune your shower temperature using the separate gas and water controls to suit the conditions and your water setup.
Automatically shuts off the gas supply if the water temperature gets too high, helping reduce the risk of scalding.
If the Smarttek Lite tilts or falls during operation, the safety system automatically shuts off the gas supply.

Smarttek Lite hot water systems are covered by a 3 year manufacturer's warranty. Smarttek accessories are covered by a 12 month warranty.

If you’re connecting to mains water or an existing pressurised water setup, you don’t need an additional pump.
If you’re drawing water from a bucket, jerry can, river or dam, you’ll need a Smarttek water pump.
Best for drawing water from a bucket or jerry can. Compact and easy to set up, it can move water up to 10 metres and is a great option for simple camping and off grid shower setups.
Use with your Smarttek water control set to MIN.
Best for rivers, dams and setups where you want more flexibility with your water supply. It connects to the included 8mm hose or a 12mm garden hose, with up to 40 metres of horizontal push and pull capacity. For best performance, place the pump closer to the water source, with up to 10 metres pull and 30 metres push, plus up to 6 metres vertical lift.
Both the 4.3LPM and 6LPM pumps require a suitable 12V power source.
The current Smarttek gas hose and regulator connects directly to a Type 27 / LCC27 LPG gas bottle.
We recommend connecting the Smarttek regulator directly to the gas bottle without additional adaptors or connectors, as these can affect the gas pressure supplied to the system.
The brass adaptor on the gas inlet is glued in place during manufacturing and is not designed to be removed.
When connecting or disconnecting the gas hose, always use two spanners.
If bubbles appear, turn the gas off and check the connection before using your Smarttek.
Add a Smarttek Gas Quick Connect for faster connection and disconnection of your gas hose without needing spanners each time.
No. The Smarttek Lite itself runs on 2 × D size batteries, which power the ignition system and keep the ignition components operating while the system is running.
You only need a 12V power source if you’re using a Smarttek water pump.
No. The Smarttek Lite is designed for outdoor use only.
Always allow the required clearance around the unit so heat and exhaust gases can disperse safely.
Drain any remaining water from your Smarttek Lite after use, especially before storing or travelling in colder conditions.
Water left inside the system can freeze and cause damage.
