What are the differences between the Smarttek Black & Smarttek Lite camping shower?

The Smarttek Black camping shower is based off the original design of the Smarttek Hot Water System although the Smarttek Black & Smarttek Lite camping showers have the same specifications when it comes to heating water.

They are both fitted with the same safety features including a Tilt Switch, Temperature Cutoff Sensor, Gas Solenoid Valve & Flame Sensor & have the same low water flow capabilities of around 2LPM up to 6LPM.

The main differences between them is the Smarttek Lite is 10cm smaller & 1kg lighter than the Smarttek Black camping shower. 

The Smarttek Lite comes with 12 months manufacturers warranty whereas the Smarttek Black comes with 3 years. 

The shape and colour vary between the two camping showers which gives you the choice of design concept. 

Required clearances are slightly different as well, the Smarttek Lite camping shower will need an additional 500mm around the unit when in operation.

What are the differences between the 3 camping shower kits?

Smarttek camping showers can be purchased with either No Pump, a 4.3LPM pump pack or 6LPM pump pack. But which one will you need?

If you already have your own pump or will be using the camping shower with mains water pressure then the no pump pack is your best option. 

The 4.3LPM Pump is designed to move water up to 10m on the Min Water Flow, great for pumping water from a jerry can, bucket or water source within 10m.

The 6LPM Pump is designed to move water up to 40m & can be used on Min or Max water flow, great for pumping water from a dam, river, creek or stream up to 40m away.

Where can I use a Smarttek camping shower?

Smarttek camping showers are portable gas hot water systems designed for outdoor use. Being a portable gas camping shower you can use it anywhere you need hot water. 

They can be used simply by hanging the unit with the foldable handle on the back, the temporary mounting brackets on the top & bottom of the camping shower or with the Smarttek Tripod Stand.

Customers use them while camping/staying in national parks, caravanning, off grid living, outdoor showers for swimming pools/spas & even in the backyard washing pets.
